Helena Dietrich’s multidisciplinary work spans performance, sound, image, sculpture, immersive installation, and experimental pedagogy. Her practice develops through listening, relational presence, and attentiveness to emergence, exploring how selves, bodies, and environments are composed through reciprocal relations. Rooted in feminist, eco-somatic, and decolonial approaches, she investigates voice as a porous threshold—between self and other, human and more-than-human, visible and invisible—where sound becomes a site of resistance, imagination, and possibility. Her research on resonance explores vocal archaeology, anatomical fictions, deep listening, and altered perception to investigate how bodies and environments attune and transform within more-than-human ecologies. She intends to create encounters where transformation, fluidity, and interdependence become tangible, inviting participants into experiences of sensing and imagining, where bodies, materials, and worlds listen to one another.
